Langley Perer, Producer and Mosaic Leader, Passes Away at 44

Langley Perer, who served for five years as a manager at the Mosaic Media Group and was responsible for producing the 2011 reboot of
Arthur
passed away. She was 44.

Peter passed away on June 25 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following a four-year struggle against cancer, according to executives from Mosaic.

In a single sentence, you can’t fully capture Langley,” stated Jimmy Miller, founder and CEO of Mosaic. “She was an outstanding individual whose presence could shift the atmosphere in any space. A mother, a spouse, a colleague, a mentor and producer. Humorous, intelligent, and stunningly attractive. And, I apologize to anyone who might be easily offended (though Langley and those familiar with her will grasp this), she was truly among the greatest women ever.

Langley supported and advanced the professional journeys of notable authors and filmmakers including Olivia Milch, Stacey Harmon, Nick Schutt, Phil and Brandon Murphy, Max Nichols, Ryan Engle, and Laura Lekkos.

Born in Pittsburgh, Langley Wilson Perer attended Tulane University and started her professional journey as an assistant at Gersh. In 2003, she joined Benderspink as a literary manager, later becoming an agent and vice president of production. She then transitioned to Mosaic in 2012, where she advanced rapidly within the company.
