Starbucks
is transitioning to a flat-fee system for syrups.
Starting from Tuesday, both U.S. and Canadian stores will charge a uniform fee of 80 cents for any selection of sauces and syrups, regardless of whether you choose one pump or all four. If you opt to add extra syrups to drinks that are already flavored, there won’t be any additional cost.
per Bloomberg
Previously, before the modifications, the pricing was influenced by the specific flavor, the quantity of pumps used, as well as the particular drink items being bought.
