writing, “Our daughter has arrived! We are incredibly thankful for the precious gift of this new tiny life.”

In a follow-up message, they additionally shared the baby’s name: Daphne Reign Tebow, which carries significant importance for the pair.

Demi-Leigh says, ‘The name Daphne has always held a special place in my heart since childhood.’ She adds, ‘Although I never had the chance to meet my maternal grandmother, her sister named Daphne became like a grandparent to me.’

In addition to referring to her as a “small, compassionate, and resilient South African woman,” Demi-Leigh says, “I’ve always mentioned that if I were lucky enough to have a daughter, I would call her Daphne. Soon after Tim and I tied the knot, I told him about this wish, and fortunately, he adored the name almost as much as I do!”

She mentions that the middle name was influenced by a young girl whom she and Tim have cherished and known for many years.

“She shared a tale that touched our souls in ways I cannot fully express,” she states. “Yet above all, her name serves as a reminder that when we are welcomed into God’s family, we become children of the Sovereign. You were created to lead and flourish—not through authority, but through mission, compassion, and selfhood.”
