In recent years, this has often occurred in the fall rather than January as it used to be.
For those who are eager to get their hands on tickets, the waitlist is currently open for both weekends. Attendees can join by placing a refundable $20 deposit, which will be credited toward their waitlist request if they are able to purchase tickets. However, joining the waitlist does not guarantee a ticket. If wristbands become available, patrons will be charged in full automatically.

The 2026 festival saw a record-breaking sell-out in September 2025, just after headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G were announced. This marked the first time the entire festival had sold out, not just the first weekend, since 2022.

While her schedule includes a break in April 2027, it’s unclear if she will have enough time to prepare for the event, especially considering potential conflicts with her European tour or the “radius clause” that limits shows in Southern California.
Festivalgoers have also expressed interest in seeing Rihanna and Dua Lipa headline the 2027 event, two artists who have long been on fans’ wish lists. Although the exact date for the 2027 lineup announcement is uncertain, the excitement surrounding this year’s festival—especially Weekend 2 with its numerous special guests—has left many eagerly awaiting the news.
