When Steven Kight stepped onto the BAFTA red carpet on Sunday, Deadline spoke with him, inquiring about the future of thePeaky Blindersfranchise and whether he was considering another film within that universe. Knight wasn’t sure how to respond regarding the possibility of a new movie, but he did discuss the upcoming series that is currently being made.
“I’m not sure about that. We’re currently filming the next season, which is going very well, and we’ll have it wrapped up in a few weeks,” said thePeaky Blinders boss.
He further mentioned that individuals will be “pleasantly surprised” by the final result and how it eventually turned out. The interviewer then swiftly shifted the topic to Bond and whether he could provide some insight into the project’s progress, likely regarding how the script is taking form.
“I can’t be separated from it because it’s going extremely well. It’s going amazingly well. We have the best team. I can’t wait for people to see,” he said about Bond.
Nevertheless, he did not verify whether he had finished the script and remained quiet about it. As a result, the interviewer changed the topic from the script to his collaboration with Amazon and how it has been with the studio so far. Knight responded positively, saying that everything is going extremely well.
